The gal behind the cash register at the grocery store didn't look much younger than me. And yet she called me "sir." It's been happening a lot lately...people referring to me as "sir."
I don't remember being knighted any time recently. Did I grow up?
I'm going to the record store. No one calls you "sir" at the record store.

If I worked at the record store I would call you Sir.
Well, it is called getting "old"...ummmmm I have been called mam and corrected people for that because I know I look younger than I am..Although about 10 years ago I was yelling at people making me pull out my driver's license to verify I was over 18 to get cigarrettes and lottery tickets. I still hate that new law too...even though I don't smoke anymore...wish I could...ohhhh
